What We Transport

SERV Wessex transports a wide-range of items on behalf of the patients and staff of the NHS.

Items include:

• Blood
• Plasma
• Platelets
• Samples for analysis by pathology and microbiology laboratories
• Human milk
• X-rays, scans and CDs
• Medication and controlled drugs from Hospital Pharmacies
• Heart Monitors for transportation back to Hospital Cardiac Units
• Patient notes
• Any other medical items or small pieces of medical equipment
